Bethel Fuels Project Performance Period 1997 to 2000 RSE Services Containment Engineering Cold Regions Engineering Fate and Transport Modeling
RSE conducted an environmental engineering analysis to satisfy agency concerns for use of permafrost under a 10 million gallon bulk fuel facility in as a component of a lined containment installation. RSE services included installation of Internet accessed soil moisture and temperature probes via dataloggers permitting direct agency access to site data as part of the permit process.

Kenai River Center Performance Period 1999 to 2003 (estimated) RSE Services Groundwater/Surface Water Assessment Well Installation, sensor installation, data collection.
RSE is participating in a groundwater/surface water interaction study along the lower Kenai River to identify groundwater contributions to the Kenai River and importance to salmon spawning habitat. This study results will be used to assist resource managers in understanding factors that may influence viability of habitat for salmon spawning.

Pitkas Point Restoration Project Client: Lower Yukon School District Performance Period 2000-2001 RSE Services Geotechnical Engineering Containment Engineering Site Characterization Water System and Infiltration Galley PS&E Upgrade
RSE provided site assessment and remediation services along with a preliminary watershed vulnerability assessment for diesel-impacts to the village water supply. RSE supported the engineering design of an interim water collection system and regulatory reporting of corrective action activities.

Fisher Hangar Phase I, II, and III ESA Client: Bankruptcy Trustee Performance Period 1997 to 2001 RSE Services Geotechnical Engineering Groundwater/Surface Water Assessment Site Characterization and remediation program, including ADEC approval via Internet Project Management Access.
RSE completed an extensive Phase I,II,III ESA for refined petroleum contamination at the former Yute Air lease site at the Bethel Airport. Project included excavation and proposed treatment of over 1,200 cubic yards of contaminated soil at a restricted access site with a weather-limited construction window.
